Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System is looking for a Section
Manager to oversee an Aircraft Mechanical Design and Integration
team in San Diego, CA . This position reports to the Department
Manager of Vehicle Integration within the Vehicle Engineering
Directorate of the Global Surveillance Division. Some hybrid
flexibility is available.
Job summary: In this hands-on leadership role, you will lead a
group of approximately 12 engineers responsible for the engineering
design, integration, and installation of mechanical subsystems and
will provide support to multiple aircraft programs in both
unclassified and classified environments. You will spend
approximately 20% of the time performing functional homeroom duties
(such as attending functional staff meetings, management of
personnel, and coordination of job assignments, staffing, and
recruiting) with the remaining 80% performing technical work.

Salary Range: $151,900 - $227,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays
and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
