Job Description:
Great opportunity for a RN, LVN or NP to lead and manage
concurrent review of all admissions.Consult with providers,
beneficiaries and family members.Consult with case management
nurses in proper application of criteria. Authorize inpatient
outpatient treatment. Evaluate Physician's treatment plans and
develop care plans.We require a two year minimum of inpatient
concurrent reviews,managing Medi-Cal, Commercial and Medicare
patients.Active RN, LVN, NP, or LPN license in good standing and
without restrictions in the State of California required.Experience
in telephonic concurrent review process and 3 years experience in
case management in a hospital, IPA or managed care
environment.Knowledge of medical criteria for length of stay and/or
experience with Healthcare Guidelines.Knowledge of CPT/ICD-9
coding.MS Word, MS Excel expertise required. We are an equal
