A company is looking for a Remote Charge Capture Specialist to
ensure accurate and timely capture of chargeable procedures in
clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
Identify workflow best practices and prevent inaccurate billing
Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to support billed
charges
Research Medicare requirements for compliance and reimbursement
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
One to two years of healthcare experience in billing or charge
capture
Proficient in reviewing charges in an EMR system (e.g., Epic,
Meditech)
AAPC or AHIMA certification in coding within the first year
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under minimal
supervision
