Registered Veterinary TechnicianEthos Urgent Care, Rancho Penasquitos--About Us:In April 2022 Ethos Veterinary Health launched Veterinary Urgent Care to provide veterinary medical care to dogs and cats in stable condition, but who need medical attention after hours.Our team of Veterinarians and Technicians at our Rancho Penasquitos clinic are experienced, trained, and skilled in all aspects of Urgent Care medicine. Our clinics are equipped with point-of-care ultrasound, digital radiography , in-house lab equipment, blood analyzers, and much more.--We are looking for an experience RVT to join the team!Compensation range:--$26.00-$29.00/hr with a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus!As a Registered Veterinary Technician--in Urgent Care some of your duties will include:Triaging patients--Partner with DVM's in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures--Performing or assisting with radiographs and ultrasoundsAdminister and monitor patients for anesthetic/sedation procedures- dental experience highly preferredAdministering pre-surgical and postoperative medications.Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events--Handle miscellaneous prescription requests, client callbacks, lab work entries etc.Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates--Schedule:4/10 hour shiftsEvery Friday and some--weekend daysRequirements:Current RVT license--in the state of CA is required2+ years clinical experience. Anesthesia and surgery experience required.Proficient in medical math--Must have weekend availabilityBenefits:Highly competitive and comparable wages based on experience and skill set.
